Group Sustainability Communications Manager 



  • Development and writing of annual ARDEX Group sustainability reporting according to GRI Standards (Budget for CSR software required)
  • Progress Report UN Global Compact and ESG reporting
  • Ongoing analysis/evaluation of legal/political framework conditions (e.g. EU Green Deal)
  • Ongoing analysis of competitors and market communication concepts
  • Support market studies regarding sustainability brand awareness
  • International sharing and exchange of sustainability activities and goals
  • Internal sustainability transformation & communication
    - Initiate Sustainability awareness among senior management
    - Design interventions to drive the sustainability mindset change
    - Create comprehensive internal transformation & communication strategy
    - Implement communication standards globally
    - Create and organize sustainability events (with local owners)
    - Participate in delivering sustainability updates/presentations to colleagues
    - Prepare of all Global Sustainability communications information for delivery by CU Marketing
    - Sustainability KPI – data collection, collation, analysis, and reporting
  • External transformation & communication 
    - Create global ARDEX sustainability communication strategy together with CU Marketing
    - Support roll-out of green product communication together with CU Marketing
    - Collaborate together with CU Marketing and local entities for regional/local communication               strategies
    - Develop online/offline marketing materials together with agencies and CU Marketing
    - Provide support material for sales teams’ business pitches
  • Collaboration with CU Sustainability Data Engineer for Sustainability performance data baselining from regions/entities
  • Representing the ARDEX Group as “face” of our Triple P (People-Planet-Performance) transformation campaign internally and externally


  • Completed degree in business administration, marketing or sustainability or a similar degree with appropriate professional experience in a comparable function
  • Conceptual strength combined with pragmatic solution orientation and experience in the implementation of sustainability reporting and communication concepts
  • Inspiring and motivating personality
  • Good understanding of media and marketing tools
  • It is desirable to have experience in sustainability communication concepts
  • Assertiveness, entrepreneurial thinking, initiative and negotiating skills
  • Fluent in English, other languages beneficial
